Artists at Risk Program

The Artists at Risk Program is designed to create a safe environment where vulnerable and underrepresented groups of artists can freely express themselves and continue their creative practice. Through the organization of residencies, the program provides secure spaces, support, and opportunities for artists to sustain their work despite challenging circumstances.
The program focuses on a broad range of at-risk groups, including:
  • Refugees from Ukraine.
  • Members of the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Migrants from countries with restricted freedom of expression.
We see this initiative as a way to ease their integration into cultural, social, and professional environments free from risks and restrictions.

The program aims to:
  • Support the creative potential of at-risk artists and help preserve their practice.
  • Promote inclusivity and create equal opportunities for participation in cultural life.
  • Strengthen social resilience through art.
  • Foster social justice and eliminate barriers.
The Artists at Risk Program is a platform of support that enables artists to sustain their voice and continue developing their creativity, even in challenging circumstances.
