The exhibition showcases her large-scale, black-and-white portraits taken intermittently, at different times by a young Georgian photographer Sopho Papiashvili.
Portraiture is the main focus of Sopho's work. In her practice, she tries to tell a story of the person in the picture – their disposition, thoughts, emotions, and the very mood of the moment. She aims to preserve the uniqueness of each human so that it will never be forgotten. To achieve this, the shooting process is done in a matter of prominence, through which she strives to capture the character and the ephemeral mood.
