“If You Seek Another Surface” is a collaborative multidisciplinary project by artists Elene Rakviashvili and Irakli Lomidze.
The project explores identity as a process of continuous transformation shaped by environment, space, and human relationships. Drawing on the metamorphosis of the silkworm, artists investigate the emergence, transformation, and re-formation of form through its contact with different surfaces. Identity is understood here not as a fixed condition, but as an ongoing process continuously shaped through relationships, external pressures, and change.
