The Ria Keburia Foundation hosted a public discussion as part of its lecture series on contemporary art. The event brought together art historian and curator Ketevan Kordzakhia and artist-animator Guela Patiachvili for a conversation on the meaning and development of contemporary art in the Georgian context and its place within the global art landscape.

The speakers addressed questions of artistic value, including the relationship between price and quality, the role of auctions and the art market, and the influence of institutions and curatorial perspectives on how contemporary art is interpreted and evaluated. The talk was followed by an open discussion with the audience.
