Ana Tarashvili

Ana Tarashvili is a visual artist living in Rustavi, Georgia. She has a Bachelor’s degree in visual arts from Free University of Tbilisi (2023). Ana attended International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg, Austria (2023) and participated in residency programs by Ria Keburia Foundation, Ambassadori Kachreti, Georgia (2021), and “Art and Freedom/Civil Rights in Time of Crisis” residency by The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in Art-Villa Garikula, Georgia (2020).
She plays with and against the images of her reconstructive memory as a main material. She recalls and alters those dim memories, often presented as space and interior, as a way of understanding herself and the physical world that she inhabits.
